CONTRACTOR’S LIABILITY INSURANCE

Generally, it is not advisable at all for any general contractor to work without an appropriate insurance. A general Contractors Liability Insurance is meant to safeguard contractors, operators and owners of the companies against any claims that may be filed against them by a client, customer or even their employees. These claims cases can be filed under any circumstances like an accident occurring at your work premises, any contractual liability, wrong products delivered or not delivered on time and many more such situations.

It becomes the responsibility of a general contractor's job to ensure that all his employees are covered under a Business Liability Insurance policy. If for example, who is not a part of your project, meets with an accident and injures him, he can easily drag anyone from your company to the court and file a claim against him. So, if even your employees are insured, they are safe from such cases too because the insurance agency will take care of the payment of the claims money as well as the legal fees too.
